A sk Jules is looking for a Personal Care Assistant for our client, who is a career professional based in the Peterborough/Cambridgeshire area. Join a fantastic team of current Personal Care Assistants who provide personal care and assist with aspects of daily living. Pay & Benefits: Hours Location : Holiday cover - 56 shifts per year (exact hours will be discussed prior to the interview) Family Holidays - 28 shifts per year when the client goes on family vacations Start Date : ASAP Pay Rate : £17.39 per hour Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided. About Our Client Our client is looking to recruit a Personal Care Assistant in the Peterborough/Cambridgeshire area, to cover team members holidays, the Cambridgeshire area on an ad hoc basis to support him with aspects of daily living. The client has a Spinal Cord Injury and will require support with all aspects of life including personal care, clinical care, physiotherapy and general tasks around his home, so driving will be essential for this role. P rior care experience is not required as all training will be provided but some experience is preferred. About You Y ou are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided. Y ou will need to be: ? physically fit, calm, patient and caring ? a confident driver and hold a full UK driving licence with own vehicle ? fluent in the English language ? reliable and trustworthy ? a non-smoker ? organised and able to work on your own initiative ? a positive individual with a good sense of humour ? a mature and responsible individual ? have excellent hearing and communication skills ? clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways ? have a valid passport Y ou must respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
