Responsibilities
* Day-to-day operational management of a team of security officers, supervisors, and receptionists.
* Safeguarding of company assets including people, buildings, and information.
* Implementation of security policies.
* Undertake security threat & risk assessments.
* Undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the Client or Corps Security Management Team.
* Identify practical areas for personal development of the team, in conjunction with the Contracts Manager.
* Lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning, and monitor attendance / timekeeping.
* Prompt and accurate submission of all necessary reports and performance measurement documentation to appropriate departments.
* Effective rostering of site personnel.
* Attainment of Company's Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and assist with investigation of apparent non-conformance.
Qualifications
* A valid SIA Front‑Line License – essential.
* A valid SIA CCTV License – desirable.
* Previous Security Management experience.
* Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
Work Hours
Working an average of 60 hours per week covering Monday – Friday days 0700‑1900.
