About the Role:
Receptional is seeking a talented and motivated SEO Content Executive to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals with 6 months plus of experience in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and a passion for digital marketing. As an SEO Content Executive, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' search visibility and driving organic traffic to their websites as well as developing relationships with our clients.
Receptional is an award-winning digital marketing agency, working with some of the UK’s best-known brands. Our SEO Executive will be responsible for contributing to the devising of SEO strategies and implementation of our SEO plans for our clients. The ability to research and produce high-quality content whilst maintaining SEO best practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Keyword Research and Analysis
* Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant terms and phrases for client websites. Analyse keyword competitiveness and search volume to optimise content effectively.
On-Page Optimisation
* Implement on-page SEO strategies to improve website structure, meta tags, headers, and internal linking. Collaborate with other team members and clients to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into new and existing content.
Content Creation
* Create engaging, high-quality content that aligns with specific SEO goals and best practices, such as keyword integration, EEAT optimisation, and improving rankings. Adept at utilising keyword research and SEO tools to ensure content is optimised for maximum visibility.
Support with SEO Audits
* Perform standard SEO audits and support with technical audits to identify and resolve issues affecting website performance, including analytics and search console, keywords and content, backlinks, crawl errors, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and indexation problems.
Reporting and Analysis
* Generate regular reports using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track website performance metrics. Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
Stay Updated with Industry Trends
* Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in SEO and digital marketing. Proactively recommend new strategies and techniques to improve client results.
Client Communication
* Communicate with clients to understand their goals, provide updates on SEO campaigns, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
* Ensure insights and rationale are shared with your clients during regular reporting meetings to ensure they have visibility on metrics, ROI and success of our campaigns
* Communicate impact of latest developments and trends in SEO and digital marketing to your clients
* Build strong relationships with your client to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
Qualifications
* Degree educated in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* 6 months plus of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency setting.
Essential Skills
These are the must-have skills for the candidate to be able to perform the role:
* Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics & Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
* Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
* Understand principles of keyword research
* Understanding of best practices for metadata
* Understanding of relevant technical SEO
* Understanding of how to optimize content
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
* Attention to detail and the capability to produce high-quality content
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in the field of SEO.
* Previous experience in content writing for SEO
Non-Essential Skills
Some of these skills would be advantageous but not required:
* Some HTML/CSS knowledge
* Sales skills (as you may be involved in upselling to existing clients or pitching to new clients)
