We are seeking a highly experienced Techno‑Operational Consulting Leader to head the NW & BOS Transformation Consulting practice and to join the Global Consulting Leadership Team that guides business and offerings across Ericsson.
Global Consulting Team Leader Responsibilities
* Drive global P&L and define objectives of the NW & BOS Transformation Consulting domain.
* Identify, develop and manage a portfolio of leading NW & BOS Transformation Consulting offerings.
* Identify consulting opportunities in collaboration with tech professionals, sales and solution architects.
* Nurture and convert opportunities while contributing actively to consulting proposals.
* Guide and lead delivery of consulting projects and programs worldwide.
* Engage as a thought leader at the CxO level.
* Lead the NW & BOS Transformation consulting team composed of senior members.
* Manage stakeholders across consulting communities in various geographies.
* Actively contribute beyond the domain to achieve overall business objectives.
Domain Expertise Area Details
* AN, Orchestration & Automation transformation
o Strong understanding of autonomous networks e2e methodology and industry‑leading orchestration & automation transformation approaches.
o Experience delivering transformation programmes, covering organisational, process and system integration impacts.
* 5G Core and 5G Network
o Knowledge of 5G Core evolution, SA deployment options and end‑to‑end technology evolution including RAN and transport.
o Deep understanding of 5G business implications, monetisation opportunities and technology road‑mapping.
* Telco Cloud transformation – Virtualisation and Cloud Native
o Understanding of cloud transformation challenges, deployment perspectives, CICD/DevOps and operational processes.
o Experience with Telco Cloud Transformation programmes and cloud operating models.
o Knowledge of operational implications of moving 5G core to virtualised or cloud‑native environments.
* Operational transformation and operating models to support 5G Evolution
o Competence in defining transformation approaches for 5G evolution.
o Capability to design operating model aspects such as performance, fault, assurance, automation, field services, metrics and OSS systems knowledge.
* Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
* OSS systems and support strategies, including orchestration, automation, closed‑loop control, micro‑services and analytics.
* Knowledge of industry standards such as TOGAF, ITIL and TMF TAM/SID, ODA.
* Supporting Capability – Telco Cloud Technology
o Understanding of Telco Cloud technology trends, containers, micro‑services, MEC and public cloud solutions.
o Knowledge of Telco Cloud reference architectures.
Qualification Details
* 15+ years of professional experience, including proven ability to sell and deliver consulting projects.
* Experience delivering Core/Technology/Operational Consulting projects with a business mindset.
* Previous leadership of consulting business, practice and teams, including P&L accountability.
* Sound technical knowledge across Core, Cloud, RAN, Telco Orchestration and B/OSS Transformation domains.
* Delivery skills:
o Ability to align technical strategies with business ambition.
o Expertise in formulating strategies and defining transformation journeys.
o Proficiency in fact‑based storytelling and influencing skills.
* Strong people and team leadership skills:
o Coaching and development facilitation.
o Track record of team growth and operational management.
* Behavioural skills:
o Excellent oral and written communication; orientation towards innovation and learning.
o International and cross‑cultural selling and delivery experience.
o Results‑oriented and commercial thinking.
* Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably a Master’s in Business.
Location & Travel
Global opportunities; expected travel of approximately 50% based on business needs.
