Smart Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a permanent role in an independent SEND college in Aston, Birmingham, supporting learners aged 14-25 through tailored academic and vocational programmes.

Job requirements:
• Minimum 6 months experience working with autism behaviour support
• Hold a Child/Adult DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Experience supporting learners with SEND
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Role responsibilities:
• Support learners aged 14-25 with SEND in both group and 1-to-1 settings
• Assist in delivering tailored academic and vocational activities
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement individual learning plans
• Promote a positive, inclusive and respectful learning environment
