We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team at one of our properties. The role involves supporting the property’s daily operations, managing onsite activities, and ensuring overall performance. Responsibilities include administrative, financial, and resident relations tasks.
Responsibilities
* Assist Property Manager in ensuring compliance with HUD 4350.3 Handbook.
* Implement intervention strategies for non-compliant tenants.
* Prepare for REAC reviews, manage EHS violations, MOR, investor reviews, LIHTC reviews, and conduct recertifications.
* Document lease violations and coordinate evictions.
* Promote resident satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries, complaints, and requests.
* Coordinate maintenance team responses to resident requests.
* Assist tenants with various requests and issues.
* Notify staff of move-ins, move-outs, and emergencies.
* Provide excellent customer service with professionalism.
* Track arrears and follow up with tenants.
* Oversee lease renewals to maintain retention rates.
* Collaborate with legal team on rent payment statuses.
* Manage accounting transactions, ensuring timely rent collection and deposits.
* Create purchase orders in Yardi.
* Respond to calls, messages, and emails within 24 hours.
* Support operational tasks to meet schedules.
* Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications
* At least 2 years of experience in affordable housing leasing or property management.
* Knowledge of local residential markets.
* Experience with EIV and Yardi software.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Strong communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to learn property management applications quickly.
Salary Range: $18 - $19.50 USD, depending on experience and location.
