Responsibilities Assist the teacher in adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with a range of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, and speech or language difficulties. Help shape a learning environment that's supportive, stimulating, and designed to promote every student's full potential. Collaborate with staff, families, and external specialists to implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Provide focused, one-to-one and small group support to pupils requiring additional help. Cultivate a classroom atmosphere built on patience, encouragement, and mutual respect. A compassionate and adaptable approach, with a firm belief in inclusive education. Excellent communication skills and a calm, consistent approach to managing behaviour. A genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
