So, who are we looking for? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Credit Manager to join our team and take ownership of credit control across our diverse property portfolio. In this key role, you’ll lead the charge on debt recovery processes — from setting a clear and consistent framework for collections to collaborating with external agencies, overseeing court action where necessary, and managing write-offs with care and accuracy. You’ll be the go-to expert for ensuring that service charges, utility recharges, and rental income are collected efficiently and on time — all while delivering excellent customer service and keeping communication open with both clients and internal teams. Alongside credit control, you’ll also manage the department’s treasury function, ensuring smooth, compliant, and timely financial transactions from start to finish. Even if you can’t tick everything off from the list below but think you’ve got what it takes, we’d be keen for you to apply: Work effectively with internal departments to assist with customer queries Carry out ongoing training to the credit control and transaction teams, when required Do monthly 1:1 catch-ups with the credit control team leader and the transaction team leaders Complete weekly KPI reports for Board members Review late payment fee remove requests and remove as required Respond to emails from solicitors about open cases Contact solicitors when cases need to be closed and pass the invoices onto the transaction team Overseeing end-to-end finance operations Respond to leaseholder/freeholder complaints in a timely manner Constantly assess credit control and transaction team procedures to make sure they are working effectively What’s in it for you?
