Role Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join us. The successful candidate will support the business by preparing accurate estimates for upcoming projects, with occasional site visits required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements to prepare detailed and competitive estimates
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source accurate pricing
• Attend site visits as needed to assess project scope and support estimating accuracy
• Collaborate with the wider team to support tender submissions and project planning
• Provide cost breakdowns and assist in value engineering where needed
Requirements:
• Previous experience in electrical estimating (commercial and/or residential), mechanical experience an advantage but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods
• Able to work independently with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Familiarity with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• UK driving licence preferred (for site visits)
