On behalf of PwC, we are recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manger- Compliance on an initial 6- month contract based in London/Birmingham.
Join us as a Corporate Tax Manger:
You will join our team of experts specialising in supporting clients with their Pillar Two Compliance, Corporate Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting obligations. Our clients range from multinationals to smaller mid-tier clients across a wide range of industry sectors, providing you with opportunities to broaden your technical knowledge.
What you'll do:
You will work alongside other tax specialists managing a range of activities for the clients in your portfolio including:
Review and submission of corporation tax returns
Delivery of Pillar Two compliance services, including leading engagements, collection of data, data analysis, review of Pillar Two compliance calculations, and submission of returns
Review the organisation, analysis, and formatting of raw data into standardised templates for tax compliance purposes.
Review and submission of tax accounting schedules, subject to experience
Having a high level of client contact and being responsible for organising, monitoring and managing your own workload.
Budget monitoring
The skills you'll need:
Strong UK corporate tax skills
Technical knowledge of the global Pillar Two rules and filing requirements
Experience of preparing/reviewing transitional safe harbour and full rules calculations.
Preferably hold an accountancy or tax professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ATT, CTA or similar) or have demonstrable knowledge and skills that these qualifications provide.
Developed client service ethos and can adopt a flexible approach to meeting client needs.
Be able to establish, build and maintain a good working relationship with key decision makers.
Data literacy and analytical skills.
Working on a global basis with remote teams, including Delivery Centres.
The ability to provide clear, constructive feedback on quality and accuracy
A continuous process improvement mindset.
Desirable to have UK GAAP and IFRS tax accounting experience.
