We are looking for a creative communicator to join our busy team. This role is your chance to make a real difference, working closely with key directorates to understand their priorities and bring their stories to life.
You will be at the heart of our communications and marketing efforts, helping to shape the council's voice and showcase our ambitious Capital Programme, which is transforming Neath Port Talbot through major infrastructure and regeneration projects.
What You Will Be Doing
* Craft and deliver strategic communications plans that align with corporate goals
* Collaborate with project teams to create compelling, audience-focused messaging
* Build strong media relationships and manage proactive coverage
* Produce engaging content across multiple channels
* Use analytics to measure success and optimise digital campaigns
* Support events, consultations, and public meetings
* Champion brand consistency and uphold corporate guidelines
* Step in to cover the media desk when needed
