About you: You are an experienced internal communications professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You have a strong track record of managing complex internal communications programmes in professional services or a similar environment and you are equally as comfortable advising senior leaders as building compelling content yourself. You will be a calm and confident communicator, with the credibility to act as a trusted adviser to leadership and the practical skills to create, curate and deliver content that connects and inspires. The opportunity: A truly firm-wide role, with colleagues dotted around the UK and Europe, you will be based in our Belfast office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape, embed and deliver truly impactful and interesting communications and engagement initiatives. You will balance strategic input with operational delivery, executing day-to-day internal comms activity across a range of audiences, platforms and channels. You'll devise and deliver high-impact campaigns around topics like Inclusion, Sustainability, and our Employer Brand, all the while helping bring our overarching firm strategy to life in a way that is relatable and meaningful to our people. Collaborating with a wide range of colleagues all around our international firm, you'll be reporting to the Internal Communications and Engagement Lead and you'll be a key member of the Business Development and Marketing team. This is a significant opportunity for someone who combines an international mindset with the ability to tailor approach to match the audience. Strong editorial judgement, an eye for detail and the ability to bring strategy to life through compelling communication are all skills at the heart of this interesting role. What you will be doing: This role will manage and execute on a range of communications and engagement activities. Your work will play an important part in ensuring our people are informed, inspired, and aligned around our firms strategic goals, enthused to work as a 'One Europe' team and therefore better equipped to serve our international clients. Key responsibilities include: Intranet ownership: act as editor and guardian of our intranet, driving a culture of curation and content excellence, ensuring it is a compelling, user-friendly platform that connects people to our strategy and culture. You will also play a hands-on role, writing and editing stories and developing supporting assets to bring these to life, all in line with our Style Guide and championing best practice. Trusted adviser to leadership: working closely with the Internal Comms and Engagement Lead and other members of the team to provide counsel to internal stakeholders on messaging, tone and approach, ensuring communications are clear, consistent and aligned to strategic objectives. Responsible business communications: advise on and deliver communications that showcase our firms commitments to inclusion, purpose and sustainability - it is likely you will be covering both our Inclusion agenda and ESG priorities. Campaign leadership: plan and deliver multi-channel internal campaigns on a range of other firmwide initiatives working with stakeholders across offices and functions. Operational delivery: handle day-to-day communications output; from uploading and publishing intranet stories, creating newsletters and emails to digital signage (in office 'screens') and video content, ensuring alignment and consistency of voice. Editorial excellence: write, edit and oversee content across multiple formats, ensuring messages are compelling, inclusive and audience appropriate as well as in line with our Style Guide. You will have a hands-on approach to operating the channels and platforms from a technical perspective. International collaboration: work with colleagues across the firms international network, ensuring communications reflect and support a global perspective. Team support and mentoring: support junior colleagues, providing feedback and helping them to grow their skills and confidence. Measurement and improvement: monitor engagement with channels and campaigns, identify trends, and recommend improvements to maximise impact. We are looking for someone who can combine credibility, creativity and execution: Significant experience (5 years) in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications, ideally gained in professional services Operational rigour - comfortable prioritising/managing multiple projects simultaneously Proven ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders with both credibility and care Strong editorial skills, with the ability to adapt content and tone for different audiences Consensus driven - a keen instinct for where broader alignment is needed Demonstrable technical experience of managing intranet platforms and channels, publishing content and handling the 'back end' of these sorts of tools. A global mindset and cultural awareness, with the ability to engage colleagues across multiple geographies and build excellent remote relationships. Proficiency with tools such as Vuture, Canva and Microsoft 365; experience with digital media formats (video, broadcast) desirable.
