Job Title: Part-Time Drama Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Pay: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Requirement: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A well-regarded secondary school in the DY8 area is seeking a dedicated and capable Drama Teacher to cover a maternity leave from November 2025. This is a part-time role, and the successful candidate must be confident in taking full responsibility for the Drama department, including planning, delivery, and extracurricular involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
* Lead the Drama department, including curriculum planning and assessment
* Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil engagement
* Organise or support school productions, clubs, and performance opportunities
* Work collaboratively with other departments and school leadership
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Drama at secondary level
* Confidence in managing and leading a subject area
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Passion for creative arts and student development
