Responsibilities
* Speak with customers who may be experiencing financial difficulty and provide tailored financial solutions, such as an affordable repayment plan.
* Make and receive calls to/from customers, manage various types of accounts (car finance, bank accounts, credit cards, loans, catalogues, mortgages and mobile phone) and investigate details related to customer debt.
* Provide personalised, customer‑focused service by being transparent and delivering tailored solutions to reduce overall customer debt.
* Ensure delivery and compliance with all outcomes and activities held within the Consumer Duty regulation, driving fair outcomes for customers.
Hours & Shift
Work 40 hours per week. You will be scheduled for a range of shifts during our operating hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 19:00, and Saturdays from 08:00 to 14:00. Shift patterns and rotations will vary depending on the campaign you are assigned to.
Location & Working Arrangement
This role is hybrid working in the Glasgow office. You will be office based for the duration of your induction (circa 8 weeks) and thereafter, giving you time to build relationships. Afterward, we will discuss transitioning to hybrid working.
Qualifications
* Friendly approach and accuracy in communicating with confidence.
* Positive attitude, self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and ready to make a real difference.
* Customer Service experience, face‑to‑face or in a call‑centre environment.
* Ability to use different systems, accurately recording conversations and outcomes.
* Capacity to handle sensitive or challenging conversations and complaints with resilience.
* Good numeracy and English literacy to explain financial products and solutions clearly.
