Join our caring team as a Night Registered Nurse at Care Concern Group. We are a market‑leading, family‑owned care group operating over 100 homes across the UK. Our Kingsacre Care Home provides up to 66 residents with Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite Care, and Palliative Care for older adults. What You'll Do
* Craft personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to design and implement care plans that are unique to each individual.
* Ensure accuracy of care documentation, observing daily interactions and conditions, and ensuring documentation is precise, legal, and clear to the team.
* Lead with confidence by organizing and guiding your shift, ensuring team members know their roles in delivering high-quality care.
* Facilitate seamless transitions through effective shift handovers and continuity of care.
* Monitor health through routine observations and management of specific health needs with attention to detail and safety.
* Administer medications safely, adhering to MAR sheets and protocols.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy and urgency.
* Support independence by encouraging daily activities and providing hands-on assistance as needed.
* Act on feedback to prioritise resident health and well-being.
* Uphold dignity and individuality of residents, advocating for their needs and preferences.
* Encourage engagement by facilitating social interactions and activities within a vibrant community.
* Maintain safety and a secure environment for all residents.
* Support nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
* Respond to emergencies quickly, using the on‑call system and ongoing reflective practices to improve care.
About You
* You’re a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
* While care home experience is a plus, your passion for care and dedication to improving residents’ lives are what matter most.
* You connect naturally with residents, families, and colleagues, bringing warmth, understanding, and a calm, patient demeanour to every interaction.
* Clear, empathetic, and respectful communication with residents, family members, and the care team is essential.
