This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, customer-focused, and commercially aware professional with experience in account management, customer retention, order coordination, and client relationship management to play a key role within a fast-paced and supportive environment. The Role As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer relationships, overseeing account activity, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery across your client portfolio. Acting as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, you will focus on customer satisfaction, retention, renewals, and ongoing account support - with no requirement for new business sales or cold calling. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building strong and lasting relationships to support customer retention and long-term account development Act as the primary contact for customer queries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction Coordinate customer requests and ongoing account activity, ensuring smooth delivery of products/services Work closely with internal departments including operations, logistics, finance, and customer service to ensure an excellent client experience Maintain accurate customer records, pricing information, and account documentation within CRM/ERP systems Monitor account activity and provide regular updates and reporting on customer performance, renewals, and service usage Support customer retention initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and strengthen client relationships Manage renewals and ongoing customer communications to ensure continuity of service Build trusted relationships with clients to encourage long-term partnership and maximise account value Ensure customer issues and escalations are handled promptly and effectively The Ideal Candidate Minimum of 2 years' experience in an account management, customer service, sales support, or client relationship role Strong experience managing existing customer accounts in a fast-paced commercial environment Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities Proficient in CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work collaboratively across teams Customer-focused with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Experience handling renewals, retention, or ongoing customer support is desirable What's on Offer Competitive base salary up to £35,000 Flexitime Staff Discount Free onsite parking Opportunity to work with a well-established and growing organisation Supportive team environment with ongoing development opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Stable account management role focused on existing client relationships rather than new business sales Interested?
