Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar/ floor Staff. This role involves providing exceptional service to patrons in a lively and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and experience in food and beverage service. Duties
* Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to guests at the bar and tables
* Take orders accurately and handle cash or electronic payments with precision
* Prepare beverages, including cocktails, soft drinks, and non-alcoholic options
* Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
* Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
* Assist with basic food preparation when required, including garnishing and presentation
* Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers professionally and courteously
* Handle phone enquiries with proper etiquette and assist with reservations or enquiries as needed
* Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to licensing regulations
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments is a must
* 18 years and above for this role
* Food preparation skills, including meal or snack assembly, are advantageous
* Experience as a barista or in culinary roles can be beneficial
* Delivery driver experience may be relevant for certain operational aspects
* Strong communication skills and good phone etiquette are essential for guest interactions
* Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of beverages is required
* Experience in guest services, serving, or working in a busy hospitality setting will support success in this role
