Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in managing cost estimation and financial analysis for civil construction projects, ensuring each one is completed on budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including earthworks, drainage and site preparation
* Conduct risk and value management as well as cost control
* Analyse tender documents and collaborate with project managers to prepare competitive bids
* Maintain documentation and records, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
* Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure clear communication ad project success
Qualifications and Experience Required
* Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry.
* Strong working knowledge of costing software and estimation tools.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Project.
