We are currently recruiting for an admin officer based in Portadown. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.

Rate of pay: £12.97
Hours of work : Monday – Friday 37 hours 9-5
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the First Contact Team you will work as part of a multifunctional administrative team which provides both back of office and front office support in a local Jobs and Benefit Office. As the first point of contact for UC claimants you will be responsible for assisting claimants who need to conduct their business face to face or via telephone.
The role is customer facing and deals with queries on the phone and at a public counter. Their duties will include claimant orientation, resolving queries, arranging appointments, undertaking interviews, assisting customers in the Digi Zone, where appropriate, input new data and change of circumstances updates. There are also post duties, phone queries, reception cover and other reasonable duties as required by line management.
Please note you will be required to attend mandatory training with no leave permitted during the training and consolidation period. Training will require at least 1 day travel to another area.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
Proof of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grade C or above or the equivalent to this.
Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to use own initiative.
