What You'll Be Doing (Other Than Looking Fabulous):
* Juggling a caseload of residential property matters like a pro whether it's freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, remortgages, or new builds, you'll handle it all with style.
* Leading and motivating our team, ensuring everyone's on top form (and not just because there's cake in the kitchen).
* Networking like a legal social butterfly, bringing in business and charming clients with your knowledge and professionalism.
* Supervising your capable assistant, who will take care of the nitty-gritty (like opening and closing files) so you can focus on the big stuff.
* Making sure everything's running smoothly with the firm's CRM, case management system, and post-completion tasks. In other words, you'll keep the legal train on the tracks.
* Handling recruitment and HR duties for the department. Yes, you'll be a boss, but we promise not to ask you to wear a tie (unless that's your thing).
What Were Looking For:
We need someone who's been around the conveyancing block a few times so, 5+ years of residential conveyancing experience is ideal. If you know your way around the conveyancing process and can confidently say, I've got this, we'd love to meet you. Bonus points if you're the type who can keep calm under pressure (and maybe crack a joke while youre at it).
Skills & Experience:
* Expert knowledge of residential conveyancing - Let's just say you know more about property law than most people know about their favourite TV show.
* A proven track record of managing a caseload (and keeping the plates spinning without dropping any).
* Strong leadership skills - You're the person people turn to for advice and guidance, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
* Client charm - Because keeping clients happy is 90% of the job (the other 10% is knowing how to work the coffee machine).
* A knack for business development - You're not just keeping the ship afloat, you're steering it toward new opportunities.
