Job Description:
* 25 hours a week including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, no Sundays and no OOH.
* Confident with routine surgery and medicine.
* Comfortable with some small furries.
We are recruiting for a part-time Vet Surgeon to join a friendly team at a small animal veterinary practice in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
* Excellent part-time opportunity working 25 hours a week, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, with no Sundays and no OOH.
* The practice is purpose-built to industry-leading standards, featuring 3 consult rooms, a theatre, in-house lab, digital X-ray, ultrasound, etc.
* Varied surgical and medical caseload with loyal local clients.
* Ideally, you will be confident with routine surgery and medicine and comfortable with some small furries.
* Join a friendly team of 2 Vets, 2 Nurses, a student nurse, and a Practice Manager.
* CPD fully supported with a generous allowance and paid memberships (BVA, VDS, RCVS).
* Great location with free onsite parking, good transport links, and direct train routes to London destinations (King's Cross, Moorgate, Finsbury Park).
Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
* Registered with the RCVS.
* Confident with routine surgery and medicine.
* Comfortable with some small furries.
