We're on the lookout for a highly motivated and results-driven National Account Manager to oversee key relationships national accounts in the plastic and packaging industry.\n\nAs the National Account manager, you will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. \n\nRequirements\n\nAbout the Role\n\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, account management, and business development with experience managing large-scale accounts across multiple regions.\n\nDrive new business development efforts by identifying and securing new national accounts\n\nDevelop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for national accounts, fostering strong and lasting relationships\n\nIdentify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through consultative selling and upselling\n\nCollaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to deliver exceptional client experiences.\n\nMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the plastics and packaging industry to adapt sales strategies accordingly\n\nNegotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure mutually beneficial terms\n\nProvide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management\n\nStay informed on sustainable packaging solutions and industry innovations to meet evolving client demands.\n\nExperience & Skills\n\nCompetence in the use of pipelines for sales and account management\n3+ years of experience in national account management, sales, or business development within the plastics, packaging or manufacturing industry\nProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets\nStrong negotiation and communication skills\nAbility to analyse data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategies\nExperience with materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management is a plus.\nProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite\nWillingness to travel as required\n\nBenefits\n\nSalary of up to £45,000, plus performance-based incentives\nOpportunities for professional growth and career advancement\nDynamic and collaborative environment
