This full-time, office-based position is located in Burgess Hill and is for a Senior Civil Engineer. The role involves leading and delivering civil engineering projects, producing detailed infrastructure and storm-water management designs, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary project teams, and maintaining compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. The successful candidate will take a practical approach to problem-solving and offer technical direction to ensure projects are completed effectively and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver civil engineering projects from concept through completion.
* Produce detailed infrastructure and storm-water management designs.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations and apply best practices.
* Provide practical problem-solving and technical direction to ensure projects are completed effectively and to a high standard.
Qualifications
* Strong capability in civil engineering design with a solid grounding in core civil engineering principles.
* Proven experience in civil engineering planning and project management.
* In-depth knowledge of storm-water management systems and related design solutions.
* Thorough understanding of applicable industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Excellent analytical abilities with clear communication and strong teamwork skills.
* Competence in relevant design software and engineering tools.
* A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; professional registration or membership is advantageous.
* UK residential scheme experience is preferred.
