The Electrical & Automation Manager is an excellent opportunity with one of NI's most successful manufacturingpanies to join amitted team at a time of ongoing investment and improvement. They are one of the most successful sites in Europe with a very dedicated team across the factory.
Your new role
Managing a team of 6, you support the site with new and improvement projects to deliver future growth and improvement intentions. The scope of the role is large to include:
-Develop & Implement strategy for this department and lead the team
-Manage electrical and automation projects to improve current performance but also align with growth projection (long term view)
-Drive the team toward KPI delivery and success around efficiency and project success and corrective actions.
-Project planning in line with budgets
-Drive positive culture and collaboration in the team
municate with strength and clarity across the team, other departments and stakeholders
-Manage technical specifications
-Contribute to project and capital expenditure proposals
-Coordinate projects, installations,missioning activities
-Facilitate training to upskill the team and drive efficiency
-Operate withinpany and ISO standards
What you'll need to succeed
A methodical approach to projects and problem-solving and the ability tomunicate and lead a team efficiently are key skills for this role. We are keen to talk about your potential in this role if you can demonstrate similar experience in such a role, but ideally, you will hold the following:
-Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering OR time served to HNC/HND level and relatable experience.
-CAD skills
-Good knowledge of electrical control systems (PLC's, SCADA, HV Distribution
-Strong project delivery experience
-Leadership skills
