Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Swansea, Wales, UK
Salary: £14.24 - £28.48 per hour (DOE)
Responsibilities
* Support trained nurses in delivering direct patient care in a mental health setting
* Observe, monitor, and record patient conditions accurately
* Provide therapeutic support with dignity, compassion, and honesty
* Assist with patient activities and ensure a safe environment
* Maintain detailed records of patient progress and incidents
* Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients with mental health needs
Requirements
* Minimum of 6 months recent UK experience in an acute mental health setting
* Practical Manual Handling and BILD Accredited TMVA training
* Right to work in the UK
* UK residency
* Driving licence and own vehicle are essential
* Registration with Social Care Wales
* Compassionate, reliable, and committed to patient care
