We are seeking professional and vigilant SIA-licensed Door Supervisors and Close-Protection Officers to join our team. The following vacancy is to work as a door supervisor within Bishops Stortford.
Job Description: Door Supervisor male/female team member
You will be the face of the venue, ensuring Health and safety, with a positive experience of all guests while maintaining a secure and compliant environment.
With a customer serivce focused front of house welcoming appeal.

Requirements
* A valid SIA door supervisor licence / Close protection licence is required.
* Minimum 2 years of experience: preferably in a licensed pub, bar, club (night life) (or similar accepted).
* The legal right to work in the UK and relevant documentation (E.G. Passport/Visa).
* Availability to work night shifts, primarily Friday - Sunday evenings (8 pm – 3 am).
* Valid First Aid certificate.
* Experience with monitoring and reporting procedures.
* Knowledge of local licensing laws and regulations.
* Able to speak fluent English or similar.
* Previous armed forces experience highly desirable with competitive pay
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Service: Act as a welcoming and professional point of contact for all guests. Provide a reassuring security presence while promoting a positive and friendly atmosphere.
* Crowd Management: Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter antisocial or disruptive behaviour. Effectively manage intoxicated or difficult individuals, using de-escalation skills to handle incidents calmly and lawfully. Support ejections and removals in line with venue protocols and licensing law
* Venue Security & Access Control: Proactively manage entry and exit points, checking IDs, and (where necessary) performing searches to ensure only authorized guests are granted access.
* Incident Response & Reporting: Respond to incidents with professionalism and authority. Complete accurate and timely incident reports and shift logs, ensuring all actions are in line with venue policies and licensing laws.
* Compliance & Teamwork: Monitor venue capacity and patrol the premises. Ensuring the venue operates to a safe capacity and crowds are dispersed appropriately whilst working in close coordination with venue management, bar staff, and other security personnel to ensure seamless operations and compliance with all regulations.

* You are confident in your ability to de-escalate and resolve difficult situations with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* You are reliable, punctual, and have an impeccable personal appearance.
* You possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain vigilant to security risks.
* Must be comfortable in a pub/bar/club environment.
* Requiring guests to leave the venue and/or refusing entry to guests when behaviour/suitability is not in line with house-rules/policies. On occasions, this may require physical intervention.
Additional information
* We are hiring multiple disciplined SIA licenced D-S and C-P officers with the ability to work internationally with multiple new contacts being signed.
* Additional shifts available during the week and/or for special events.
* Part-time or casual hours depending on venue/ site/ location needs.
* A valid driving license with access to a vehicle and ability to travel around the UK is highly desirable

Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
