RG Consultancy are working with a well-established construction company based in Sandbach who are looking to recruit Payroll & Accounts assistant to support with company success and increased workload. You will support the financial controller with the day-to-day transactional duties within the accounts department & payroll

The Role
* Collect and check weekly timesheets from site teams
* Run and process weekly payroll for employees and subcontractors
* Handle CIS deductions and submissions
* Calculate wages, taxes, and other deductions
* Ensure timely payments and accurate payslips
* Maintain payroll records and prepare weekly reports
* Respond to payroll-related queries
* Assist with the purchase ledger, match code and process supplier invoices
* Reconcile statements and resolve invoice queries
* Prepare payment runs and update supplier accounts
The Person
* Prior experience working within payroll and accounts job is essential
* An AAT qualification would be beneficial but not essential
* Experience within a construction business or CIS experience/knowledge would be desirable
* Additional purchase ledger experience is desirable
* Strong IT skills including different systems experience and MS Excel
