Unit Export Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of MJT Securities Ltd, a substantial privately owned business that began in 1929. Since being established in 1977, Unit Export has specialised in completing supply contracts, delivering essential supplies for aid and development projects funded by major international donors, including the United Nations, World Bank, and other leading International Development Banks. We serve as a vital link between projects and manufacturers worldwide, ensuring seamless procurement and delivery for global development initiatives in more than 130 countries.
We are currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator to support our daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient administrative systems and assisting the team and management in ensuring smooth business activities.
Duties
· Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
· Manage and maintain up-to-date reports and statistics using Excel .
· Organise and manage documentation storage, both electronic and paper-based.
* Accounting tasks, ensuring statements and commercial invoices are coded and posted accurately.
* Managing and reconciling bank accounts and transactions, including foreign exchange deals.
· Collaborate with team members to support project management and office initiatives.
· Overseeing and supporting company with developing and implementing improved processes and internal projects.
· Manage IT-related requests and issues, coordinating with external support providers to ensure timely and effective resolution.
· ISO Reporting and Audits.
* Support the team to meet deadlines and achieving business targets.
* Provide other general administrative tasks as needed to support operations.
What We're Looking For:
· Prior experience in a similar office administration or coordinator role.
* A hands-on, company-oriented individual who thrives in a small business setting.
* Strong organisation and time management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and Adobe.
* Experience with using and managing SharePoint portal.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Positive "Can do" flexible attitude.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our Group Headquarters in Basildon, Essex, so candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office.
The hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with half hour lunch
23 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays).
