Our services enhance and maintain commercial buildings, protect mechanical and electrical assets, and safeguard critical infrastructure.

Operating throughout East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, we are based locally from our Hull offices.

About the role

We are now seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager to join our operations team. Based at our office in Hull, this position will join our operational team due to our continued growth and expansion. Reporting to the Operations Director, the main responsibilities of this role include:

· Manage a range of client accounts, operations, and mobile based engineers

· Assisting and coordinating the helpdesk team with engineer productivity, ensuring engineers are working in the most efficient manner

· Undertaking monthly site audits to monitor standards of quality and health and safety

· Assisting the helpdesk team with holiday planning, absence management and out of hours call out rotas

· Undertaking contract performance reviews with the Commercial Manager

· Ensuring that toolbox talks and engineering meetings are held each month

· Providing management support and mentoring to the operations team

· Updating and providing contract reports

· Overseeing contract invoicing requirements

· Maintaining and monitoring client service levels against agreed SLAs

· Dealing with customer complaints in accordance with the Company’s procedures

· Preparing customer quotations including sourcing subcontractor and supplier costings

· Enhancing team results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results

· Coaching, counselling, and using the company disciplinary process when required

· Recruiting, inducting, and nurturing new employees

· Responsibility for financial objectives and targets

· Providing information needed for budget preparation

· Monitoring costs and job profitability

· Maintaining safety, quality & environmental standards across all operations within reasonable time scales

· Ensuring that personnel within your team have received the necessary training, information and instruction and are competent to carry out their tasks without detriment to safety, health, or the environment

About you

Having succeeded in a similar role you’ll be proactive, self-motivated, work equally well independently and as part of the wider team, and be able to build and maintain relationships across the organisation and with our customers. You would ideally be located in Hull or East Yorkshire area. xkybehq

Essential qualifications and experience

· Previous experience of managing a service delivery team, ideally within the M&E / HVAC engineering field

· Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients

· Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload

· Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· City and Guilds NVQ level 3 in Electrotechnical services – Electrical Installation

· City and Guilds 2330 Electrotechnical Technology

· 18th Edition IEE Regulations

· AM2 Practical Examination

· 2391 Inspection, Testing and Certification of electrical installations

· Full UK driving licence

Remuneration

This is a permanent position, Monday – Friday, working 40 hours per week between 08.00 am to 17.00 pm.

· Starting salary from £50,000.00 depending on experience
