Qualifications and skills required include:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant equivalent with appropriate skills
* Full Driving Licence
* Understanding of highway engineering, design standards, and stakeholder communication
* Knowledge of DRMB, MCHW, TSM/TSRGD
* Ability to work independently and supervise others
* Experience in checking, monitoring, and guiding junior staff
* Specialization in pavement, VRS, or traffic signs/markings design
* Proficiency in producing Specification of Works, Pre-Construction Packs, H&S files, and Bills of Quantities
* Understanding of CDM 2015 and health and safety risk management
* Ability to attend the office at least 3 times a week
* High standards for work quality and presentation
* Experience leading meetings and project management skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD Civils 3D and 2D
* Ability to produce Traffic Signs designs and road markings
* Knowledge of the DMRB departure process, NEC4 contracts, and previous experience with National Highways
