Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns for a portfolio of clients
* Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual management accounts
* Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, payroll journals, VAT submissions & variance analysis
* Oversee tax compliance, including corporation tax returns and self-assessment filings
* Liaise with external auditors during year-end processes
* Provide commercial insights and build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams
* Mentor junior accountants & contribute to process improvements
Experience and Skills Requirements
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA
* Proven experience (ideally 3+ years) in practice
* Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with IRIS (e.g., Cashflow Manager, PAYE, CT)
* Experience in self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns
* Strong organizational, communication & analytical abilities
