Prescribe and manage medications as an independent prescriber, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans. Order and interpret investigations (laboratory and radiology) and make evidence-based decisions on care management. Coordinate care across services, acting as a referral agent and care coordinator to ensure seamless patient journeys. Lead on clinical quality and safety, promoting best practice, supporting audits, and contributing to service improvement initiatives. Mentor and support colleagues, providing clinical supervision, coaching, and contributing to the development of junior staff and students. Safeguard vulnerable individuals, applying policies and legislation in child protection, mental health, and safeguarding adults.
