What skills and experience we're looking for We are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher on a full-time basis, who is committed and talented to join our team from 1st September 2026. The role would be two days based in the classroom and the remaining three days supporting and driving school improvement across the school with the Headteacher. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role during an important phase of growth and improvement. As part of this new chapter, we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who can inspire, support and challenge a dedicated team of professionals who care deeply about the pupils and community. Key Responsibilities: • Support the headteacher in strategic leadership • Lead key areas of school improvement and development • Foster a positive school culture • Engage with parents and stakeholders • English Lead • Take the lead on reviewing and renewing the school curriculum • Take accountability for the Assessment and Data review We are looking for candidates with high expectations, who are able to motivate pupils to make outstanding progress and who want to make learning engaging and interesting. You must be enthusiastic, resilient & proactive as well as friendly and approachable; with excellent communication skills and have a passion for teaching.
