Practice Manager - Dental Vets

Dental Vets, part of inspiring vet care, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Practice Manager to lead our dedicated team at our specialist dental referral practice in Haddington. Located just 30 minutes from Edinburgh, this role offers a rewarding leadership position alongside an excellent quality of life.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As Practice Manager, you will lead the non‑clinical operations of the practice, working closely with clinical leadership to ensure efficient day‑to‑day running, strong team performance, and an outstanding client experience. Your responsibilities include:
* Lead, support and develop the non‑clinical team while fostering a positive and collaborative culture
* Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the practice to ensure efficient workflows and an excellent client experience from first contact through to follow‑up care
* Manage rotas, recruitment, onboarding and team development
* Drive financial performance through budgeting, KPI monitoring and service improvement initiatives
* Ensure compliance with RCVS standards, health and safety and regulatory requirements
* Oversee facilities management, equipment maintenance and stock control
* Handle client feedback professionally and proactively
* Support marketing and community engagement activities, including social media campaigns
* Work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm

* You have proven experience in a management role, ideally within healthcare, veterinary or service‑led environments
* Your people‑management skills include performance management and team development
* You possess strong operational and organisational capability, able to manage competing priorities
* You are experienced in handling complaints, change and complex situations with confidence
* You have excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
