Project Manager – Gas Division (Northwest)
An established leading UK utility provider is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of gas infrastructure projects across the UK.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects across pipelines and above-ground installations (AGIs), including PRSs, Offtakes, Compressor Stations and Terminals. Projects range from core maintenance activities to complex, multi-discipline schemes aligned with the UK’s energy transition, including Hydrogen and CCUS initiatives.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the safe, compliant and commercially successful delivery of gas projects from construction through commissioning and close-out, working closely with pre-construction, commercial and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage construction and commissioning activities across gas projects
Interface with pre-construction teams to ensure effective project handover
Maintain programme, cost and risk control
Ensure full compliance with HSEQ, regulatory and industry standards
Act as the primary client contact during delivery
Lead, coordinate and develop project and site teams
Essential
Proven experience delivering gas infrastructure projects (utilities sector experience advantageous)
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
SMSTS and CSCS accreditation
Civil / Mechancial background
