Purpose of the Role
The Logistics & Operations Controller will manage and coordinate all logistics, warehousing, and operational functions to ensure smooth and cost-effective supply chain operations. This role is critical in maintaining service excellence, meeting deadlines, and upholding regulatory compliance in the medical industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, schedule, and oversee the movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
* Supervise storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
* Monitor stock levels, conduct audits, and ensure accurate inventory records.
* Communicate with vendors, couriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery or quality issues.
* Identify and implement operational efficiencies to optimise cost and performance.
* Ensure all operations comply with health & safety, quality assurance, and industry regulations.
* Produce regular reports on KPIs, stock performance, and logistical metrics for management review.
Skills & Competencies
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.

Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
* Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
* Experience in the medical or healthcare industry (advantageous).
* Understanding of regulatory requirements in medical supply chains.
