Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create a prehensive support system.
* Provide direct instruction and interventions in accordance with IEP goals.
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
* municate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student development.
* Maintain accurate records of student assessments and progress.
Qualifications:
* Active Visually Impaired Teacher Certification, valid in South Carolina or another state.
* Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in an itinerant capacity.
* Strong understanding of educational strategies for students with visual impairments.
* Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to various classroom environments.
