The Role
As Business Central Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across finance, procurement, production, and compliance. You'll collaborate with teams across the business to streamline processes, deliver automation, and ensure Business Central continues to evolve as a best-in-class ERP platform for a modern manufacturing environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Leading and supporting Business Central configuration and enhancements across finance, purchasing, inventory, production, and quality control.
* Streamlining Accounts Payable processes using Continia Document Capture (or similar automation tools).
* Maintaining and improving integrations between Business Central and third-party solutions.
* Translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
* Configuring features for food manufacturing such as batch tracking, lot management, shelf life, and traceability.
* Customising workflows, dashboards, and reports to deliver meaningful KPIs.
* Delivering user training, documentation, and ongoing change management.
* Troubleshooting issues, ensuring system performance, and supporting routine updates.
* Supporting finance operations including AP/AR, general ledger, and cost accounting within ERP configuration.
Your Technical Skills
You're a strong fit if you have:
* 3+ years' hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV).
* Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows (production orders, inventory, quality, compliance e.g. BRC/HACCP).
* Experience with AP automation tools such as Continia Document Capture.
* Solid knowledge of finance processes including Accounts Payable and reconciliation.
* Familiarity with lot tracking, batch traceability, expiry/shelf life, and food industry ERP features.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to document and communicate clearly.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience with EDI, warehouse scanning systems, or shop floor data capture tools.
* Knowledge of SQL Server, APIs, and system integration strategies.
* ERP implementation or upgrade experience.
* Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
