Role: Client Care Advisor
Location: Blue House Vets, Biddulph
Contract: Part‑Time, FTC (6 months)
Blue House Veterinary Centre (Petplan Practice of the Year 2019) is a long‑established, single‑site small‑animal practice in Biddulph, Staffordshire. A team of 9 veterinary surgeons, 5 veterinary nurses and 1 veterinary nurse student, 5 veterinary receptionists and a practice manager make up a friendly family‑feel team. We have beautiful, spacious premises with a large staff room equipped with fridge, freezer, coffee machine and toast‑maker and even a massage chair. Our gardens offer a place for breaks, plus a pool table and exercise machine. We pride ourselves on our level of care and have a good reputation locally.

How You'll Make a Difference
Our customer care team are so much more than “just” receptionists! They have the confidence to handle a variety of customer‑facing situations from the joy of a new puppy to the grieving of a family at the end of their pet’s life, often within the space of a few minutes. They present a friendly, approachable and professional appearance to all of our clients whether in person, on the phone, or over email. This is a busy role where a calm, friendly and outgoing personality is needed to deal with visitors, telephones, emails, general enquiries, messages and occasional emergencies—all at once.
This is a part‑time role working 22‑28 hours per week. You will work 2 full days between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm/7:30 pm and 2 Saturday mornings in a 6‑week rota 8:00 am–1:30 pm.
