Salary: £33,075 to £50,471 depending on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Milton Keynes. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a crucial academic year, whether you are available to start immediately or in September 2025. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing pupils for their SATs and the transition to secondary school, while contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach a Year 6 class, delivering the KS2 curriculum effectively and creatively
* Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring strong academic progress and confidence
* Monitor and assess student progress using a range of tools and strategies
* Foster a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
* Maintain open communication with parents and carers to support learning at home
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 6
* Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum and SATs preparation
* Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil development and wellbeing
* Ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners
