HGV Class 2 Driver – Days
📍 Blisworth (Commutable from Northampton, Rugby, Milton Keynes & Towcester)
Pay Rates:
1. £15.00 per hour PAYE
2. £16.81 per hour PAYE Advanced (inclusive of holiday pay)
Shift Pattern:
3. Monday to Friday
4. Day shifts – 06:00 start onwards
The Role
Driver Hire Northampton & Kettering are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a Monday to Friday day role based in Blisworth.
You will be responsible for delivering premium cooking oil and collecting used cooking oil from customers, providing a professional and friendly service at all times. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role using modern vehicles and handheld technology to accurately record delivery and collection volumes.
Key Responsibilities
5. Delivery of premium cooking oil to customer sites
6. Collection of used cooking oil
7. Providing excellent customer service on every delivery
8. Accurate use of handheld technology to record volumes
9. Operating vehicles safely and in line with all legal and company requirements
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
10. A valid C (Class 2) licence
11. Valid Tachograph & CPC
12. Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major offences)
13. At least 12 months’ Class 2 driving experience
14. A strong commitment to health & safety and compliance
