Overview
Business partner the senior leadership team and build strong relationships between finance and all other departments at site, ensuring engagement and understanding of financial impacts. Actively support the Logistics Finance Managers and Site leadership to control and navigate Logistics costs, incl. Warehouse and transportation, by completing performance analysis and financial planning & forecasting. Support decision making by preparing insightful reporting and presentations and Work with the SFM and Sr leadership to set the agenda for the Projects and Productivity.

Responsibilities
1. Ownership of period end financial reporting and presenting results to the central finance team.
2. Coaching and development of the site finance team, including prioritisation of tasks, and managing day to day performance.
3. Responsible for monthly financial reporting of site performance to the BU, ensuring that all systems are updated correctly.
4. Business partnering with budget holders to ensure engagement and that financial priorities are understood and discussed in the correct forums with the correct audience.
5. Lead AOP build with inputs from the Site Finance Analysts in ICC, reviewing with SFM prior to submission.
6. Actively participate in Ops meetings and ensure that there is alignment on the cost KPI’s between operational teams and finance, and providing coaching if required.
7. Support site Kaizen Leaders and Green Belts with project charters, savings calculations, and tracking of productivity delivery in power steering.
8. Support GCS and SOX compliance. Work with the Operations and Control team to establish and embed relevant financial controls at site.
9. Work with the SFM to set the agenda for the Projects & Productivity.
10. Support the SFM with other work streams as required and deputise in their absence.
11. Be the link between the site finance team and the SFM, escalating issues as appropriate.
Qualifications
12. CIMA/ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified).
13. Logistics accounting experience.
14. Business partnering experience.
15. Development and coaching experience.
16. Experience of working with Lean or continuous improvement programs.
17. Advanced Excel skills.
18. Drive for results/ability to work under pressure (role is deadline driven).
19. Ability to influence upwards to affect the results & progress of the action plan & AOP.
