Production Manager
Annual Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Production Manager to join a well-established, family-run business. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Food Production and is looking to take ownership of the daily production process in a company that values craftsmanship and community.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Oversee the production of a diverse range of ice cream products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency.
* Lead, train, and motivate a small production team to achieve excellent results.
* Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, with a good understanding of HACCP.
* Manage stock levels, ingredient ordering, and production scheduling efficiently.
* Monitor and maintain production equipment, addressing any issues promptly.
* Collaborate with management to support new product development and manage seasonal product ranges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in ice cream or gelato production.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, capable of leading a small team.
* Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in all aspects of production.
* Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work closely with both production staff and management.
