Utilising your in-depth experience and knowledge of Submarines as a Cat B Nuclear Watch Keeper, we will support the development of your IT skills to enable you to join our team, updating PWR2 operating manuals (Atomic Books), the production of a set of new Atomic Books for Dreadnought class (PWR3) and supporting document approvals by the relevant Rolls-Royce / MoD Safety approval groups.

You will be in regular contact with personnel within the Safety and Engineering teams based on site, at MoD, INA and BAES. We will invest in training you and develop your IT skills to become competent using Publications Software Tools to enable you to apply your technical knowledge and expertise to become a Technical Author within our team. You will ensure the plant and support equipment is supplied through life with accurate and up-to-date technical documentation in accordance with contract requirements and agreed programme deliverables (time, cost, quality).

We offer excellent development, a competitive salary and exceptional benefits. These include bonus, employee support assistance and employee discounts.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
