A renowned luxury retailer is seeking a Senior Regulatory Legal Counsel to support on an exciting maternity cover opportunity.
Reporting into the Legal & Compliance team, this role offers a unique chance to contribute to a consumer-focused business at the forefront of sustainability, digital innovation, and product excellence.
Hybrid working, London.
The role:
* Provide strategic legal and regulatory advice across the business.
* Advising on a broad range of regulatory issues, including consumer protection, product and digital compliance, and sustainability frameworks.
* Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure our practices meet evolving UK and international regulatory standards.
* Help shape and uphold our compliance framework, while supporting safe, responsible product development and marketing.
* Support internal training, risk assessments, and policy development in your area of expertise.
Ideal candidate:
* Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE
* in-house experience within a consumer-focused business.
* Strong working knowledge of consumer and regulatory law.
* Experience in compliance, product safety, and regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
* A proactive mindset, with the willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute beyond your traditional legal remit.
* Collaborative team player with excellent communication and commercial awareness.
