Overview
Senior Design Engineer - Temporary Works Engineering Department. Permanent role based in Manchester. Salary £45,000 - £60,000 + Benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design on projects, manage the more junior members of the team, and support the Associates in their endeavours.
* Work on complex projects including facade retention, needling and propping, larger basement propping, plan bracing and crash decks.
* Apply engineering judgement to projects and influence the design and delivery.
* Have a thorough understanding of embedded retaining wall design and be comfortable using a range of design software.
Requirements
* Experience as a temporary works specialist with the ability to lead design and supervise a team.
* Good understanding of the listed project types and the confidence to apply knowledge to projects.
