We're looking for an experienced ICT Infrastructure Manager to lead our team of skilled infrastructure engineers. In this role, you will oversee the implementation of new technologies and maintain the Council's infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, disaster recovery, business continuity, and compliance.
The role involves leading the delivery, maintenance, and evolution of all Council infrastructure solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems such as servers, networking, databases, remote access, switches, routers, and firewalls. You will also work with third parties for managed service arrangements.
You will oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure compliance, investigate and manage the adoption of tools (including automation) for system management, lead cross-functional teams and third-party collaborations to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and manage key third-party IT supplier relationships.
You will contribute to the ongoing development of the IT and Digital Strategy and drive continuous improvement by identifying, designing, and delivering opportunities to support changing organizational needs.
About You
You should have extensive IT Infrastructure and Leadership experience, with a broad range of IT and systems architecture, implementation, and operations expertise. Proven ability in designing and managing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions is essential. You must be a confident communicator, capable of adapting your communication style to your audience.
