Role Responsibilities
* Leading audit assignments from planning to completion across a diverse client base, including academies, charities, and SMEs
* Reviewing audit work and statutory accounts prepared by junior team members
* Managing teams on-site and supporting the development of trainees through mentoring and training
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships as the main point of contact during audits
* Assisting the audit manager and partners with complex assignments and advisory work
* Ensuring compliance with auditing and accounting standards as well as internal processes

Candidate Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Significant audit experience gained within a UK accountancy firm
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and audit procedures
* Proven experience in leading audits and managing staff
* Excellent communication skills, with a client-first approach
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
