Robert Half are supporting a leading charity in the search for a Project Accountant to join their finance team.

This role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust systems, and supporting compliance during a period of system transformation.
12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Up to £46,598
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Central, Bristol
Hybrid: Two days a week in the office
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely, accurate financial information and drive process improvements
Act as systems administrator and support the migration to the new system
Manage access rights, training, updates, and system liaison
Prepare quarterly VAT returns and support optimisation of VAT recovery
Manage day-to-day cash flow and recommend investment opportunities
Support audit preparation, producing high-quality schedules and documentation
Required Experience:
Qualified Accountant or QBE
Strong month-end experience
Charity VAT knowledge and completion of VAT returns
Track record in a fast-paced finance environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner non-finance stakeholders
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Proficient in financial accounting systems
