Supply Desk is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) in Watford schools.

Your Role Will Include:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with PMLD, both in the classroom and during care routines.
* Assisting with personal care (feeding, toileting, changing) and supporting physical needs as required.
* Engaging pupils through multi-sensory learning activities, in line with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Using tools such as AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) to help pupils communicate and express themselves.
* Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and families to deliver a person-centred approach.
* Helping create a calm, structured, and supportive environment where students feel safe and valued.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience supporting pupils with PMLD, complex medical needs, or physical disabilities is highly desirable.
* A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children who require high levels of support.
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
* A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and the dignity of every child.
* An interest in sensory processing, communication aids, or therapeutic interventions is a plus.
